Welcome to the 2011-2012 School Year!
This year I am teaching the following courses:
PERSONAL FINANCE: We will explore the essentials of managing your financial life in the uncertain economic times we are living in. Topics include: earning, taxes, planning/budgeting, saving, investing, goals/planning, credit cards, and loans.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP: Learn about the important role small businesses play in the U.S. economy and the basics of starting a small business. Topics will include consumer needs/wants, supply and demand, financing, managing risks, financial statements, and creating/evaluating a business plan.
MARKETING: This course focuses on elements of the Marketing Mix: product, price, place, and promotion. We will also learn about the role of social media in the marketing world!
